Privacy Policy

When you subscribe to flavour alerts, we collect your email address, selected flavours, language preference, and records of subscription, confirmation, notification, and unsubscribe events. We do not require a customer account or collect your name, date of birth, or payment details for this service.

As with most websites, our hosting and security providers may process basic technical information generated by a request, such as IP address, browser type, access time, and error logs.

We use your email to verify the subscription and notify you when the flavour you selected joins today's menu. A flavour subscription does not add you to a general marketing list or alerts for other flavours.

We also use necessary records to operate the service, prevent misuse, honour unsubscribe requests, troubleshoot delivery, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We use Contentful to store unpublished subscription records, Resend to send and log email delivery, and Vercel to host the website. These providers process information to provide, secure, and maintain the relevant services.

These providers and their subprocessors may process or store information outside Australia, including in the United States, Ireland, Germany, and other locations where they operate. Privacy protections overseas may differ from those in Australia.

While a subscription is active, we retain the email and subscription record. After unsubscribe, we remove the plain-text email from the subscription record and retain only an irreversible email hash plus consent, notification, and opt-out records for as long as reasonably necessary to prevent accidental messages and demonstrate that the request was honoured. The email provider may retain limited delivery logs under its own policy.

We use technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, but no internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Every flavour alert includes an unsubscribe option that does not require login. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint.

We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be entitled to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
